Starting the new way of life

I got my Food Lovers Fat Loss package on Saturday (May15th) and watched the DVD it came with. My boyfriend is now interested in trying this all out with me. We'll see how it goes. The first step has been pretty simple. Just learning more about foods and their basic reactions to the body. I feel like I'm reading a text book for a nutrition class so I'm feeling more and more confident about this. If at the end of the 21 days I don't go down a dress size (I have a pair of 'skinny' jeans that are my current goal to fit in), then I'm going to return the package and start all over.

After I get my paycheck next week, I'm going to start mixing up their detox plan. It's basically a liquid diet that will force my body to clean itself out. It's mostly all natural and I'm no stranger to a detox week. This is just the first time I've seen a detox plan with a lot of good fruits to mix in instead of pills and special teas. I'll let you know how that goes.

But for now, I'm going to use this blog to help me record the foods I eat every day.

8:00am Strawberry Pop Tarts
11:00am 1/2 bag of honey roasted peanuts
1:00pm Planet Sub Roast Beef (6 inch)
3:30pm 1/2 bag of honey roasted peanuts
6:30pm Cup of Chicken Noodle Soup
9:00pm Handful of cauliflower and a sugar cookie
11:30pm Three garlic breadsticks and a slice of pizza (Thin Crust, Grilled Chicken, Mushrooms)

It seems like a -lot- of food but at least it's spaced out pretty nice. And I went to bed around 12:30am. I should have slept sooner but day in the life of a busy city girl.
